Mid-Winter Conference is slowly coming upon us. It will be February 1st at the Trumbull Marriott. We will be having a Diaper Bank Drive. I would love to fill our room for The Diaper Bank representatives when they come. We can do it. But, if you are able to attend Mid-Winter Conference your unit or you can give a monetary donation to be sent to ALA Dept of CT, make check out to ALA Dept of CT and in the memo section put The Diaper Bank of CT and we will present a check to them along with the donations of diapers at Mid-Winter Conference.

Please continue the great work for children who do Good Deeds and Youth Hero. We have 2 Good Deeds Awards so far this year in our Department.

The Child Welfare Foundation name has been changed to Child Well Being Foundation. All donations sent to the Department are sent to the Foundation. Thank you for your donations.. Any questions email me or call me.

Members,
My Children and Youth Project this year is Diaper Bank of CT. They collect diapers, teenager period pads and incontinent pads and adult incontinent pads. There's 2 ways you can donate to them. You can send a check to the Department office and make it out to ALA Dept of CT and in the memo section put C&Y Diaper Bank of CT and the department office will send the donations to the Diaper Bank or we are doing an actual Diaper Drive at Mid-Winter Conference. The Diaper Bank will be there to collect our diapers. Please show an awesome support for this project. Any questions you can email me at [email protected] or call me at 203-215-9236

‘Also, I have enclosed an attachment for Child Welfare Foundation, if your unit donates $1.00 per member you can receive a ribbon (see the attachment) for your unit flag. Thank you for what you do for our children in our communities.

Chairman Ruth Morgan

A new year has begun for our Children & Youth program. Continue to look out for our Youth Hero and Good Deed recipients. Let’s honor them for what they do for our communities.
